One of the benefits of having good, clean fresh air is to get outside and enjoy it! In this article, we’ll go over some different ways you can get outside in nature.
Go for a hike
Hikes can be easy or strenuous. Long or short. You can make them suitable to your fitness level. Either way, getting out into nature is a nice way to experience the outdoors.
One benefit of hiking is that you hike away from cars and other modern trappings. Opening up a whole new world of fresh air and possibilities.
Go for a run
Running is the most efficient way to get in shape! And you can do it pretty much anywhere. All you need is a good pair of shoes and a traffic-free route.
Doing a run/walk is the best method to get started if you’ve never run before. Just run for 30 seconds, then walk for 30 seconds. If you don’t have a pair of running shoes, we recommend getting fitted at your local running store. If you have flat feet, you’ll need a special pair of shoes.
When running, go can go on a treadmill, but we obviously recommend getting outside to enjoy the clean air!
Cruising on the ocean, river, or lake is another fun way to enjoy the outdoors. Kayaking provides a good upper body workout. But you are free to go at whatever leisurely pace you would like.
